Couples Therapy
When was the last time that you and your partner were playful with each other?

Relationships can be a lot of work, and to really work well, they need us to be intentional, mindful, thoughtful, and respectful. But, they also need to be playful, or even silly! Laughing together is a wonderful way to connect, and having fun together is a great way to find some relief from the serious stuff in life.

Your relationship was not created overnight, and it takes time to explore and understand it. During a Couples Yoga Therapy session, you will begin to establish clear communication skills and learn the value of peaceful, loving, and kind forms of interaction, including being silly together.

EMDR
EYE MOVEMENT DESENSITIZATION AND REPROCESSING
Each EMDR private session will be uniquely designed to fit your needs, and the session goals and outcome are both dependent on you, the client. I use a body-centered (somatic) and attachment emphasis as the foundation of an EMDR therapeutic experience. EMDR therapy uses bilateral stimulation of the left and right hemispheres of the brain and also merges principles of mindfulness, yoga therapy, compassion, healthy boundary setting, and self-awareness in an embodied, experiential way to invite deeper understanding and insight from within.

My approach provides a holistic and integrated body, mind, and spiritual inner awareness for clients to facilitate their own healing and growth as I help guide and witness the experience. By being in touch with the body and being mindful about the present moment the mind can begin to learn how to support and heal and grow so you are able to move forward in a positive way.
